I am an organizer! Not a surprise to many of you! I love for everything to have a place, not that it is always there, but I know it has a "home."
I recently found this website that gives tips about everything from normal people living normal lives. Now some of the ideas are crazy, but others have become part of our everyday lives.
You should check if out! It is called DAYTIPPERS

Was it my Birthday?

Yesterday was not, but it sure seemed like it!
I won the headbands from Oopsie Dazie and my Grandmother sent me an early birthday present!
Several months back when I went to the Mart with my BFF we tested this lotion while she was picking out clothing for her store!

It was Cool Citrus Basil and it smelled heavenly! My grandmother really knows how to shop and I knew she would be able to locate it! Well she found it and sent me an early birthday present!
I don't know about you, but a sweet-smelly scrub in a great big bubble bath with cream to follow is a small taste of HEAVEN in my neck of the woods!!
It sure does Work For Me This Wednesday!!!!!

WFMW - DRUGS: Walmart, Target & Publix

With winter around the corner I thought I would share some great bargains!!!
The Publix program, is available to new or current customers regardless of their health-insurance coverage. Customers with a prescription can get as much as a 14-day supply at no cost -- and Publix is not limiting the number of prescriptions a customer can get filled for free.
The seven drugs are used to treat conditions such as respiratory infections, urinary-tract infections and ear infections:
amoxicillin
cephalexin
sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim
ciprofloxacin (excluding ciprofloxacin XR)
penicillin VK
ampicillin
erythromycin (excluding Ery-Tab).
Do you know that ALL WalMarts offer $4 for generic prescriptions? I read that Target is also offering this!

If you take a multiple medicines this is a HUGE savings! When you drop off you prescription ask if that medicine has a generic. I also had them flag all of our profiles for Generic-Only! We do have good insurance but our medicine copays have always been high. I have even asked the Dr. about the kids inhalers and other items if there was a generic if they could change their prescription.
Here is the drug list from WalMart.
Here is the list from Target.
Publix will match the Wal-Mart $4 price, but only when a customer requested it. Also CVS price matched Wal-mart's $4 price. At CVS for every 5th one filled you get a cash back coupon for $10 that you can use on other items in the store!
I thought I would also share I ALWAYS ask the Dr. if they have any samples, even if the children are running a fever, ask for Motrin. My good friend is a Pediatrician and she said the Drug Reps load them up monthly! Majority of her patients are on Medicare and get free meds anyways. So for those who are having to pay - Ask for the freebies! All they can do is say they do not have any!

WFMW: Searching For A New Camera
Works For Me Wednesdays
Husband and I will celebrate 13 years in a couple of weeks and "we" have discussed a new camera.
I want to be able to stay in my seat at a soccer game and get a really good close-up. I want it to be fast, the girls are always on the go and I don't want to miss a shot. If it could record for a couple of minutes that would be great and I need to be able to download them onto my computer without going to Walgreen's to make a disk.
If you can help me with any suggestions that would be great! Also, Husband is not going to buy the $1200 Nikon I picked out! So price has to be a factor also!
THANKS!!
Anyways, Backwards-Works For Me Wednesday!!!!

WFMW - Cinnamon Roll Sunday
Works For Me Wednesdays
Traditions are very important to our children. I do not feel like we have enough of them, but this one has been in place for over a year now and I think it will stick!
Husband does not cook in the kitchen unless he has to! He is limited to the number of breakfast items he is able to make, but Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls every Sunday morning is a huge treat for our family.
Our church offers HomeTeams and we do not have Sunday School. Therefore we do not have to be at church until 11am! That makes for a great LAZY Sunday morning! I love to fix a Chai Tea and have an extra long devotional time! This is when Husband decided to start fixing the rolls himself (I was not baking fast enough)! It then became tradition for him and the children to eat them, since there are 8 in a can, the four of them each get 2! Leaving my chunky-butt out! THANK YOU!
Nothing earth shattering, just something simple for a daddy and his babies to enjoy each week!

WFMW - Grill Press

This may not be a new product to you, but it is to me - Grill Press. I had a Pampered Chef Party several weeks back the the lady used one to cook the chicken in record time. The weight of the press cooks the meat faster. I tried my new press with a pound of hamburger meat and it worked beautifully! Three hungry children standing under my feet and my meat was cookin' so fast!!!!!!! It was great!
I found mine at William Sonoma for $18. Pampered Chef had one for about $35, but it was to big for all of my frying pans and I was not going to buy her $100 pan for my $35 Press.

Anyways It Works For Me!!!!
